Nikon AW1 O-Ring Color

Black is the colour of the O ring on the two AW1s I have, and the reference no. is WP-02000. A quick search seems to show that Nikon USA, have them for $14.95 ?? If not an equivalent should do. Good luck, with your search.

The one on the mount of my AW1 is grey, and I believe my spare is so too (cannot find it right now).

Color should not matter, as long as the dimensions are correct. Nikon could have changed source of the O-rings under ways and thereby the color. Watch out for quality of the o-ring. The one that initially came with my AW-1 had some irregularities in the seam, so I contacted Nikon and got a replacement.

Thank you both for your comments. I believe the OEM o-ring is now discontinued. But, I may find a replacement as a backup.
