Joby gorillapod

Hi! I just bought the joby gorilla pod. But I didn't think about buying a kit with the camera plate/ballhead. So now I have a gorilla pod without any possibility of connecting my camera to it. haha.

Well, any suggestions of which plate/ or bullhead to get ? im just an hobby enthusiast having a sony a5100 so not the most expensive one

The Joby 5K ballhead is reasonably priced, comes with a camera plate and works pretty well, IMHO.

Not sure what size balls they use in the Joby ball heads, 30mm? if so, try this much less expensive ballhead from Desmond. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6UEWBW

I have other heads by them and they are great values. Some are a little stiff, but soften up.

Joby’s ballhead is far and away the best thing about a Gorillapod.
