That yellow pop is great.

Great and sharp shot. I like the fish scales mast. What camera, what lens?

Love the shots, #2 in particular. Well captured.

Thanks!

Wonderful set! The first one has everything. The others are too shabby either! I've seem the fix and that makes it even better!

The night shots are wonderful but I guess it's just me, I prefer the first one the most??

Beautiful church well captured.

City Dweller, Country Visitor today it's called "diversity"! Either way there both nice!!

Wonderful set! Love the colors in the first one, it would have been my 1st choice. However, the 4th one in B&W is special!

Re #2, it's a common problem, for me at least. I'm still fairly new to this camera, and using the in viewfinder level display hasn't yet become second nature. I'm working on it, but it'll take a while before it becomes automatic

If something is really intrusive, I'll rotate it in post process, and since that picture has already been touched up a little to remove a spot of dirt that got stuck n the sensor, and a "blob" of light from the lens flare, it wouldn't be at all hard to rotate it to level it out.

Red and Black always works for me.. Luv it

A quiet week-day with a falling tide... I was hopeful that I might catch the well known wreck of the Helvetia without any footprints. No such luck! But a very atmospheric beach walk none the less. Rhossili, south Wales

Great spot you found here

Andrew, your second shot is wonderful! That should be printed large. The second one's not bad either. I don't think I ever seen that many swans together.

Thanks. I had not done a mono conversion, but for you Yaelle, one below.

Andrew

Wow! What a difference, Andrew! Much much better like this to my eyes :-)

Ok, I admit I'm fond of B&W, but here you have a beautiful light with a nice contrast, nice reflections and a great textures rendering...

Nice timeless effect as well...

I slipped on a river trip 2 weeks ago, rolling an ankle. I thought it was a sprain, my wife thought it was more. She was right. Stuck around the house and city streets on crutches for a few weeks will have me finding new subjects, but a day post-op this is my view.

Ouch... I wish you fast recovery...
Shooting will be much more enjoyable once you fully recovered...

I like the first and the last. I'm wondering on the last is that right out of the camera or a special processing?

Super portraits, #2 especially. Looks as if he has led a life dedicated to learning and his religion. Do you happen to know how old he is?
