Is there such a grid setting for the z7? I only see a 4x4 grid, not 3x3.

Not that I could find. Was suprised since my A7rii has it, and it is trivial to add.Is there such a grid setting for the z7? I only see a 4x4 grid, not 3x3.
Thx Alex

Do you find the 4x4 grid distracting? I do. I use the grid when I want more precise vertical and/or horizontal alignment. Having the grid be a 4x4, with a grid intersection dead center, throws my composition off. I end up never using it with my Nikon, unless I'm going for the Wes Anderson look. Pity.Thx Alex

I don’t find it distracting so I keep it on.Do you find the 4x4 grid distracting? I do. I use the grid when I want more precise vertical and/or horizontal alignment. Mine always on also. Not distracting me at all.I don’t find it distracting so I keep it on.Do you find the 4x4 grid distracting? I do. Nope, the 4x4 grid distracts me too.Must be just meMine always on also. Not distracting me at all.I don’t find it distracting so I keep it on.Do you find the 4x4 grid distracting? I do. The 4x4 grid doesn’t bother me, but that is just me.Is there such a grid setting for the z7? I only see a 4x4 grid, not 3x3.
Glad to hear I'm not alone. Agree its trivial to add and a strange omission. My sony a7r2 has it as wellNope, the 4x4 grid distracts me too.Must be just meMine always on also. I'm used to putting up 3x3 or golden ratio grids on my smartphones or the golden ratio grid on my Olympus m4/3 mirrorless.
It should be trivial for Nikon to add a "rule of thirds" and other grids to their mirrorless full frame cameras.
I was just about to add this to my idiot question thread. (Note: I’m the idiot, asking very newbie questions after buying a Z7 today.)Not that I could find. Was suprised since my A7rii has it, and it is trivial to add.Is there such a grid setting for the z7? I only see a 4x4 grid, not 3x3.
Nikon always had a 4x4 grid, as far as I remember. Even the DSLRs had them, so it is an old tradition.Nope, the 4x4 grid distracts me too.Must be just meMine always on also. Well, my D300s definitely NOT had 3x3, and as far as I know, Nikon always had a 4x4 grid.I was just about to add this to my idiot question thread. I’m surprised by the lack of a rule-of-thirds overlay, too. I could swear my D5300 had this. My little Canon does.
