I have a licence for capture one pro for sony v9. It won't recognise any a7iii raws that I've downloaded off the net.

It appears that there's no easy way of getting access to the raws with this version?

Is it a requirement to upgrade the entire software package to v12, just to get access to the a7iii raws for editing and review?

Hi,

you might check the supported cams list on P1's site. If I'm not mistaken your cam was supported already by V11. However what would be the advantage of getting now V11 if V12 is out and you want Pro version toolset?

For just opening / reviewing and editing with the basic toolset you could get the free Sony version - and decide later if you need/want Pro which requires then only the licencing process (same download).

Phase One have released a some major software features and improvements for its new Capture One 11.1 Update

Some of these new features include a much speedier interface, color masking, LCC, annotations and much more.

The update now also adds two specific new Sony features:

Capture One 11.1, now offers RAW support for the Sony a7 III, as well as new lens profiles for the Sony 24-105mm f/4 G

Typo? C1 currently is already V12.0.2 and V12 since Nov/18.

Probably just old information that was copied and pasted. v11.1 was new when A7III support was added.
