Powershot G16 review

I had a long review of the G16 in a thread here with many positive replies and lots of additional info. A moderator deleted it in the last few hours so I suspect she/he will delete this thread too. I think they don't like the G16 because it isn't a current model. :-(

The G16 is a great all around camera even after five years! I own one. Lately, I had issues taking a specific picture with a couple of my DLSRs. Whatever I would do the pictures would not be to my liking. I tried the same pictures with my G16 and voila!

Here is a long exposure night shot. The only way to do that shot with a DSLR was to go in BULB mode. The G16 did it all for me automatically.

Yeah, that's exactly what I love about the camera! It's amazing for actually taking photos, I took mine to the woods a while ago and it really captured the feeling there.
