My 10D's serial number has rubbed off from the underneath the body.
This was caused by my tripod connector and general usage. Does
anyone know where I can get the serial number i.e. from Canon or
inside the software?

Easy peasy. Open the Canon File Viewer utility, open a picture taken by the camera, and at the bottom of the information area is the serial number.My 10D's serial number has rubbed off from the underneath the body.
