Thanks DidierDCH for being the first one who help identify the Greater CoucalFor the last bird and depending on the location: it looks a bit like a Greater Coucal?
Thanks, glad that you like someThere are some nice shots there, I particularly like #1 and 4, although I would have probably skipped posting the koel. As the previous poster correctly suggested, the last bird is a greater coucal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_coucal
Thanks Judas, that very kind of youLovely set of dark birds, never easy unless you can use some additional lighting. Love the tail plumes on #3, maybe #2 is a little too dark, but never the less very good indeed.
Thanks Morristhe first and last are quite nice

Thanks BruceLove #1 Bruce
Haha, still many interesting and colorful species that I didn't photographed. Quite a few colorful small birds need to enter the deep forest to capture, and they hide inside the trees which are not easy to photograph. I had seen a few colorful and interesting birds but couldn't photographed them due to blockage of thick leaves...Wow you are clocking up some species now! Well done.
Love the pose of the Asian Glossy Starling.
Thanks Leswick, glad that you like #1Really like the #1. Quite unusual pose. V.nice capture.
Thanks ANAYV, glad you #1 and #4Really nice set!
First is my favorite. Fourth is second favorite!
Good composition exposure and detail

Hi BK, #3 does not have an obvious crest in the head. If I remembered correctly, before I took the picture, it rained one or two hours ago and the weather remains cloudy. The slight mess on the head might be due to the rain. "Pai seh... Pai seh..." if I'm might be wrong#3 is Greater not Lesser.
