Hello, a reputable reseller has the M6+18-150 for under 650€... Half the release price. Do you think that it means that a MkII is coming or an R equivalent?

Do you remember when Canon's EOS M was reduced to just $299?
How about when the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM lens was reduced to just $99?
It happened. And then the price later went up again - where it stayed. That was a universal pricing decision from Canon Central to get more people to buy into the system. Your local dealer can do whatever he likes and he might have any number of reasons (including special private deals with Canon) for doing so.
.
The M6 was overpriced when it was released.
The M6 is now nestled at a more reasonable price bracket.
The M6 will eventually be superseded as the technology advances.

There has never been a Mk II EOS M model and may never be. But if Canon decides to release another M6 it will be smaller, lighter and faster. it will not take better pictures than the EOS M6 but it will have 4K and it will have a new DiGiC processor as well as the new Canon compact-RAW file.
.
There will be NO 'R-equivalent' EOS M because it would eat directly into EOS R sales and EOS M sales, respectively.
.
Don't even speculate on an M-R model or you'll trigger another pathetic thread of hand-wringing and denial from people who should know better but don't.

I believe he meant an R model that is equivalent to the M6. In other words, a small-bodied R-mount, possibly with an APS-C sensor. There has been much speculation about the future of the M series and the possibility that it will fade away, replaced by R models.

nobody knows

Agree, that's why I didn't bought despite been very interested

Still too expensive before january sales

I hope so, then lenses will be cheaper to grab

Supplies of M6 (and M5) bodies has exceeded demand. Since the release of the M50, sales of M5 and M6 cameras have dropped significantly. A new model may or may not be coming anytime soon, but Canon is sitting on a pile of unsold inventory that needs to be cleared out.

Given how long this price has been lowered, at least in some markets, it is likely a permanent lowering which is often an indicator of a new version to be released. Add that to the rumours of such and Canon's assertions of commitment to the M series, I'd say yes.
or an R equivalent?
Canon have said in an interview that the next R is going to be FF, but aimed at a lower point of entry than the current R. Not sure if that fits what you are asking.
