I only posted a B&W before, and because this is a with a new GR2, I thought I post a full colour photo. Uses GM-1 Macro, uncropped mode.

Happy New Year Ricoh fellow-users

Any more to submit their best Ricoh pic of 2018 ?

I know you are out there ;)

Harold

I am too hungover to search all GR pics manually, so here is one just before midnight last night which is probably just as good as any other I took.

(exif is wrong as I haven't set the date yet after it being sent for repair)

Happy new year :-)

waouh FIFTEEN images

the idea was to post just your favorite

I know you have several good ones there but an important part of photographing is editing :)

You should be able to pick up your favorite , right ?

Nice shot, Harold.

In case you're wondering, the GXR and Voigtlander 25mm lens I bought from you are still going strong and making beautiful images. It's a lovely combo!

Here is one such example.

I'm a long-time lurker here but I am glad to make my first post on this thread. I like to travel light so the GRII has become a great travel companion. This is one I took in Los Angeles during a trip in late September 2018.

i think the new GRIIII model will bring a large change to the group of regular posters in the Ricoh forum.( some arriving, some leaving ) Maybe the new crowd will want topost more

Harold
Interesting thought. What directions of change do you anticipate? I'll be a GR III buyer. Mainly my minimalist leanings. But who knows?
I think Current users of GR and GRII models who are not intereste in the three may visit those forums less often . More importantly I think the more mainstream interface of the III interface is going to have different kind of users , more transient ones who will have a different outlook at the brand

Harold
What would we talk about if not for rumors of what the GR III will be like - if/when it will come out, if it'll have a curved full frame sensor and come in 35mm varieties.

If Ricoh solved the "pocket dust on sensor" issue, then there's really nothing left for us to talk about.
