Hi,
I'm asking about the TTL capable transmitters, to X1T, XPro (and presumably future transmitters, too).
I know that Witstro AD200, AD400 and AD600 are protocol agnostic. They will receive commands from any TTL-capable transmitter, will correctly fire the preflash and will adjust exposure.
I recently saw that this should be true for all Godox TTL products, assuming they are on current firmware because the transmitter handles everything when it comes to system specific TTL protocols. Supposedly they handle all translations of protocols and that the remote/receiver flashes are protocol agnostic.
Is that true?
Could I use AD180 II or AD360 II with Sony? (Or cross brand, so Nikon receiver with a Canon transmitter?) From the same source, I read that the only difference is the flash foot which is specific to Canon or Nikon, but that only applies in master mode, not in remote (and it's recommended that you avoid using them on camera anyway because of their bulk).
What about their speedlights? So, TT350x, TT685x, V350x or V860II? Suppose I have a Sony transmitter, can I take a Canon version, a Nikon version, set them to remote, add them to a group, and then get full TTL capability or did I misread that?
