Hi Andreas,Your memory is good! Here is a similiar picture taken with the D7i:If memory serves me correctly, early last year, you posted a
similar "Bird of Prey" photo, which I believe was taken with a D7i.
I hope I'm not wrong in my recollection. If I'm correct, could you
post that picture along with the A1 Bird of Prey picture, so we can
get a better idea of color saturation?

Okay, it is difficult to compare directly because probably there
will be a different color temperature.
Personally i like the straight out of the camera colors of the A1
much better than out of the D7i. On the other hand it is not a big
job to adjust
the colors of the D7i.
Significant differences are with extern flashes (i.g. studio
strobes). Here the
A1 is definately better. The D7i (at least my one) had an wrong
color balance.

Andreas

The A1 (as the D7 series) offers so much presets (contrast,
saturation etc) that you (if you want) store your favorite setups
and have a minimal postprocessing work.

Andreas,Hi,
The following sample is downsized and processed >
Regards,
I would say the A1 shows less (slightly) noise than the D7i.I currently have a 7I and was wondering if the new A1 displays less
noise in its photo's.
Hmh, this is difficult. Personally i would say definately yes when you don'tAnd do you think its worth the cost to upgrade from the 7I to the A1
Yes i would say so.All I can say, is, WOW!!!
Thanks for sharing, and yes, it looks like the A1 is a very decent
performer.
I always have been fascinated by the feature set of the Dimage series.I found it interesting that the A1 caused you to resurface. I
wondered what happened to you. Back when I first discovered this
forum last year, I really enjoyed your posts of different Birds of
Prey. You take excellant photographs, and you do great honor to
your subject matter
Again, thanks for responding. Take care.
Must be a secret then !( LOL)Hi,
No this is not an effect by postprocessing. The background is
already dark.
So by waiting for the correct position of the sun it appears black.

Andreas
Oh sorry. I thought you were refering to the bird. No these other photos (vegetables) were done with a black sheet as backgroundMust be a secret then !( LOL)
unless your pict0406 is a flying saucer ..... in the night
Just joking, Andreas, I do love your pictures, please keep posting
them.
