Doesn't that cause a bit of camera shake? :-D

What kind of tripod head/setup is that?
“Subject shake” more like .... don’t show it to the officer who might wish you to do a friendly breath test.Doesn't that cause a bit of camera shake? :-D

Well I guess that lens could be adapted - most recent acquisition
Love it! DIY - why spend $$$$ when you've got pieces & parts. My style indeed. What kind of tripod head/setup is that?Just put together some old bits and pieces to make an arrangement so the lens can balance freely from the ball head. Practical when tracking a moving target.
Yeah, I've noticed many of my victims -- er, subjects -- are a bit startled when the flash fires.“Subject shake” more like .... don’t show it to the officer who might wish you to do a friendly breath test.Doesn't that cause a bit of camera shake? :-D
The flash is way too close to the lens axis, which is bound to cause red eye.Yeah, I've noticed many of my victims -- er, subjects -- are a bit startled when the flash fires.“Subject shake” more like .... don’t show it to the officer who might wish you to do a friendly breath test.Doesn't that cause a bit of camera shake? :-D
Looks good and much less bulky than a gimbal...What kind of tripod head/setup is that?Just put together some old bits and pieces to make an arrangement so the lens can balance freely from the ball head. Practical when tracking a moving target.
1000mm f5.6! Wow didn't know such a lens existed. I've seen 1000mm mirrors but none at f5.6. Very cool.
I did try pulsing the flash, so it fires multiple times instead of just once, but for some reason, it stops after just six pulses and also seems to make the red-eye worse, not better ... back to the drawing board, I guess. <shrugs>The flash is way too close to the lens axis, which is bound to cause red eye.Yeah, I've noticed many of my victims -- er, subjects -- are a bit startled when the flash fires.“Subject shake” more like .... don’t show it to the officer who might wish you to do a friendly breath test.Doesn't that cause a bit of camera shake? :-D
