*Please reply to the original post but change the title to reflect the subject of your image(s) so that your post starts a new section.

*If you can provide details on the subject, camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images. *If you have more than 10+ images to share, please break them up into more than 1 posting.

Thanks for all participation whether seasoned pro or beginner. The X-T3 appears to be getting a lot of love in the face of Nikon and Canon’s new offerings. Hopefully Fuji will keep up the good work and someday figure out how to put an austere IBIS system into their smaller bodies. But that’s not the topic of this thread.

Hello Everyone,

Needless to say this thread and my recent photos is making me want to go back to Utah and roll around in it’s beautiful red rock areas. The one I chose for this week is proudly hanging in my office-gallery because it is a photo of my wife taking a photo.

We had hiked to a beautiful spot in Bryce Canyon, Utah, and I noticed the sun at an interesting angle relative to where she was standing. For a camera (S5Pro w/16-55/2.8)that was developed probably 13+years ago the extreme shadow area was able to be recovered a bit though the sun was slightly over bearing. She is wearing a fanny-pack and today I took the photo and ran it through the newest NIK filter (Polarization) to give the sky a slightly bluer look and the second is a monochrome with a slight blur of the same photo just to play. BTW because there was a Black Friday 50% discount on NIK I splurged.

Enjoy the week and let’s see all those photos!

Bob

My Wonderful Wife taking a photo not realizing she is also the subject of a photo.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it arguing about camera features - go out and capture memories

I feel so much better now that I've given up Hope

Went for a day out to watch a rally day at the local motor circuit. Wanted to try a couple of things:

See how the X-T3 faired with motorsport photography and panning (previously only used an OVF on a DSLR).

Have a play with the XF 90 as I don't get to use it as much as I would like

See how the EF 70-300 f4-5.6 faired with the fringer adaptor. This was my usual lens for motorsport photography when I had my DSLR.

One thing that I did notice at first ...

...when I saw the stain of blood on it's chest I was a little worried for the poor little dude, I thought of an injury ...

I had not noticed that it was rather keeping it's breakfast warm !

We can see the tail of a mouse protruding from under the branch on which it is perched, and the (headless) body against the chest.

Hers's a crop:

Photographic plans for the coming week: (1) my X-T20 has been on the bench for a while, and wants some attention. (2) start printing my Christmas cards! This will be my third year printing my own cards. I have selected this image, taken from the summit of Mount Adams, New Hampshire. We are looking at the headwall of the Great Gulf, and at Mount Clay (aka Reagan). "Jefferson's Knee" visible at lower right.

I like your composition of this one as well as the random abstract

Really fine set. Love the first one especially. And I always like rust! :-)

Marvellous shot. I prefer the colour. I think the hint of lens flare actually adds to the composition in this one.

Also from Allan Gardens, but less planty. :-)
