This month through your adapted lenses - November 2018

I just picked up this lens and took it out for a walk before some storms roll in and knock everything off the trees. I think its a keeper.

Very nice! The blue sky makes for an unusual combination with the berries; I normally see 'em more with either a green or 'fall leaf' background.

I admit, this one feels kind of pedestrian compared to the others in the set. Sorry. :(
This one is gorgeous, though; I love the mix of colors in the sky with the remaining leaves and the bare branches, and I'm also a sucker for post-rain pictures.
I like the colors and the contrast, but I can't help feeling it would be better if shot from a more oblique angle; right now it's not face-on enough to gain power from symmetry, but not from enough to the side to get an interesting dynamism. So it just feels like of unbalanced.
This one does a good job with balance, but feels like it needs to be straightened a bit.
Love this one. Nice balance, beautiful sunburst sunset. :)
Again, good balance, and I love the sunset colors.
This one... I dunno, maybe I'm spoiled by local color mixes, but the yellow seems to be overpowering the picture.

Finally had time over the holiday to sort through my last pics from the fall, before the first snow knocked down all the leaves...

Not sure the focus was on-spot for this one, but I loved the colors...

And the colors for this one as well!

This is my fourth Pentax 50/1.4 - two radioactive Super-Taks, an SMC, and now this Pentax-M - and I think it's my favorite. Not sure exactly why, it just seems to click better for me.

Some beautiful colours Travis!

Also, I would be curious to see a combination of these colours + the first snow (if this is possible of course :) )

Sadly, it wasn’t :( First snow turned out to be one of those wet, slushy snowfalls that strips the leaves off the trees, and stayed grey and cloudy until the snowfall had half-melted.

We’re supposed to get a blizzard today; we’ll see if that gives us anything photogenic :)
