Hello all, Happy Holidays!

Well I've been looking for photos where M6 users are taking their cameras out for some sport photos. Inside or outside..? I wasnt finding much..

So I said let me take my M6 with kit lens 15-45mm and go shoot some basketball. here are some of my better shots of the day.. C& C and enjoy!

Nice work. What iso did you use? I have to crank it way up even with an f/2.8 lens.

Once I get my m50 I'll post some sports.

Thanks,

yeah I'm at ISO 3200, SS 640 f/3.5 lens at 15mm max wide. then I did some editing. I think if you hoover over the pic with your mouse / pointer it will give you camera settings.

A few weeks ago I had my M6 out for a football day... shooting with my 300 2.8.. got some cool shots... but after shooting on high frame settings the view finder would go black to process save image then I would lose the player running with the ball...

its nice to get into a huddle and catch some of the close pics at 15mm or a coach suing a white board showing the team some info.. getting low using pull out viewing screen. this is my 2nd camera for just some fun shots like the ones here..

thanks

Joe

ps.. you M50 should get the job done without issues for sure..

Quality shots for sure, certainly helps having a well lit Gym. The remote set up worked really well. I hope you were sitting with the camera to prevent a player from landing on it.

It didn't work for me, maybe I need to find a good exif viewer android app

Thanks for the feed back,

yeah I had that camera in very close to me and watching for any action coming my way for sure.. I also had a camera in hand with a 70-200 for when the action was just outside the 3 pint line. then waited for the action to get in close to fire with remote shutter cable and M6...

1st time I took M6 inside for basketball shots.. I was taking a chance where I was set up too...

Happy Holidays,

Joe
