blurry images, awful out-of-focus rendering

I think the issues I had with my xt20/18-55 are similar to what you are describing. I found this web page that has helped me solving my issue...

Hi. Thanks, but this is not really my issue. My images aren‘t out of focus, but blurry (I’m not sure if this translates properly. With blurry I mean ‚shaky‘, like the camera is moving)

Apart from this I have set up my camera almost like adviced on this webpage. Except for the focus beep - oh god how I hate people using this :-)))

Did you contact Fuji yet to send in the whole kit yet?

You said my “images” but you have only shown one. Do you have more images that are not flowers and no wind involved? Do you have any indoor photo samples where you get that blurry or shaky look? If you do then yes your lens could be bad because mine was also making blurry or shaky photos too.

You should try to determine if the lens is decentered. Do this:

Focus manually. Take 2 vertical shots, one with left side of camera down, the other with the right side of the camera down. Open the shots side by side. If the lens is not decentered all areas in the photograph will display the same sharpness.
