X-T3 Screen Protector

From the looks of it, the X-T2 screen protectors probably remains compatible?

Can a protector designed for the X-T2 work with the X-T3's touch screen?

My guess is "probably." The screen protector material is the same used on iPads, iPhones etc. There are also XT-20 screen protectors available. All signs point to yes?

I don't think an X-T2 protector will work, unless the specs I am reading for the X-T3 are wrong. I am seeing the X-T3 has a 3.2 inch LCD screen where the H1 and X-T2 have a 3 inch LCD screen.

Hi, I have ordered a XT2 screen protector for my XT3, so I have one on from day one.

I looked up the screen specs on Fujifilm.com for the XT2 and XT3 and both seem to have a 3 inch screen so the XT2 one should be fine. At least, that’s what I am hoping!

Hope that helps.

Thanks. That is what I am going to do. I always put one on immeadiately to avoid any disappointments!

I upgraded from an X-T2 to a T3. I removed the glass screen protect assuming it would fit. IT DOES NOT. It's a millimeter or so longer an several millimeters narrower. I suspect the change to the touch screen made a slight difference. I will stick of course until T3 protectors are readily available. I have heard that the protector for the X70 is the same but not ready to spend $24 to find out. Someone else do it and let us know. Keeps the third party screen protector folks happy.

Aristotle said that larger heavier objects of the same material will fall fast than lighter ones. No one doubted it for 1000 years until Galileo dropped canon balls off the tower of Pisa and found out they did fall at the same speed. Don't waist your money. I've already tried a T2 protector on a T3. Too long. Buy one for an X70 and tell us how it works. Go ahead, take one for the team.

Never assume anything unless you read somewhere "Also fits X-T3." Screen protectors for the X100T and X-T10 both said they would fit their later replacement. I've already tried. The touch screen must be slightly difference than the older T2 screen.

At B&H they say more T3 protectors are on the way. It also says that they will fit the X70. That being the case the reverse must but true. At least, one would think. Just be real careful till you can buy one for the T3. Or buy the X70 one then let us know if that works.

I purchased from B&H the Vello variety I have always used B&H Vello X-T3 LCD Protector

and the one they sell for the X-T3 fits perfectly my X-T3! (The product is for the X70 & X-T3 - box says X70.) It is fully compatible with touchscreen. I particularly like this product (from experience on my old Nikon and my X-T2) as it does not use an adhesive; it adheres statically and is completely "bubbleless" and extremely easy to install absolutely perfectly. (Easy to remove too, with no residue.) About $25.

I have both the XT2 and XT3 and can confirm that the above is correct. The XT2 screen is slightly smaller than the XT3 and whilst a screen protector for an XT2 would fit the XT3, it will not be a ''perfect'' fit.

''Expert Shield'' make a glass protector for the XT3 and practically guarantee against air bubbles forming when fitting. It fits perfectly and looks the part. Quite expensive for what it is ie £15 on Amazon (UK) but it definitely looks good when fitted correctly.

Done. See above, lol.

Walmart or Staples and others often clear out older model screen protectors for phones. Anywhere from a coupe of dollars to about $5.00. I learned at an early age how to cut these to the right size for my X cameras.

i buy generic ipad screen protectors, make a template of my cameras LCD, cut it to size, and put it on my LCD. when it gets nasty, I make a new one and move on with life. you can make 15 screen protectors this way for the price of one pre made one.

I've mountaineered, rock climbed, glacier traversed, ski mountaineered, backpacked and traveled for the past 2 years with my XT2 having no screen protector. The thought never even crossed my mind to get one.

My local camera store had 'free' sizes which they cut to fit my X-T3. Depending on where you live it may be an option.

Personally not sure about that. I had a couple of ExpertShield Glass protectors for my X-T2s that I never used. I put them on the X-T3 and they are about 1mm too wide and 1mm too short.
