A varied world

I like this version a bit better because there's more going on than simply a tunnel that takes us to the point source, but it still suffers from the same affliction of having no tension as the other shot, although it's less apparent because there are lit spots that interplay with the swirls, but it's not enough. It needs color to break things up.
 
Here's another take on it. Instead of taking color, removing color all together, cropping and playing with the curves a bit to lead the eye and add tension.

Lovely! However, it's obvious that it's a PS job. The glow of the outline of the building is a giveaway.
