Show Your Snaps...October 22, 2018

Beautiful as always Mocha great shots! Hey adventurer you are stealing my yellow legs thunder! lol very nice.

Stricnine I thought of you this morning on my way to work, there was a beautiful large yellow moon low to the horizon. I was running late so couldn't stop myself but I kept wondering what you could have done with it.

Anway more of the same for me, going to try a different area tomorrow.

Thanks. The largest pumpkin was 2469 pounds. I read that the English and American unit of measure for weight in pounds is the same. If the pumpkin was a person that would be 176 stone. :-)

I'm impressed at seeing the green leaves where nature hangs on a little longer. That is especially impressive knowing that you might get snow next week. My favorite photo is the heron. I always like taking pictures of those big birds...and the egrets too.

The shore birds and pelicans are neat. I like seeing the ATR-72 again. The flower looks great with the rain drops. Are you in the rainy season now? We are starting the rainy season with rain tomorrow. It's been dry for us for about four months.

Your sunshine brings the best out in these pictures. They are nice and sharp.

I have some more for next week

I take it you didn't see that monster or didn't you have a wide enough Lens to get it all in. :-D

It's hard to imagine what size that monster was.

Hi adventurer69, Thanks.

We've got the Autumn light now, a low in the sky Sun and deep shadows. I love this time of year.

Hi Rocket13, Thanks.

I'm beginning to see a few more birds now the leaves are falling. :-)

Hi adventurer69,

Great shots of the Yellow legs amongst the reeds.

Hi Digirame, Thanks.

We've had a fantasic summer and even now the temps. are warm/mild for us. But they say things are about to change and temps. will plummet with a chance of snow in some areas. So I've got my bags and camera packed and ready to go. :-)

Well done!!! We are foggy rainy up here... No photog for me for a while

CD

thank you

Walked two miles and the only thing half way interesting I found was a garter snake, it didnt hang around for photos though.

That looks great. Yeah, I know what you mean. Often I'll see snakes, but they run off so fast into the brush that I can't get a picture of them.

Thanks Digi when I seen how high the Iso was I didn't think it would be worth saving I was shocked when I popped it into lightroom.

It was a gorgeous day today I have no clue where all the wildlife was hiding.

Hi Rocket13,

"It was a gorgeous day today I have no clue where all the wildlife was hiding."

I know what you mean with that, we've had some great weather recently but the wildlife has stayed away. :-)

Just for fun, not my sharpest shot. I was dozing but the squirrel was alert and gone. Kudos to the 7D mk II and the squirrel. :-) .

We don't have flying squirrels in the UK but this little guy hasn't read the instruction manual. :-) (Aperture f/7.1 ~~ (SS): 1/800 ~~ ISO 250 ~~ EC: 0 ~~ PASM Mode: Custom ~~ Metering: Partial ~~ Focus Type: AI Servo ~~ FL: 300mm ~~ Lens: Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD ~~ Camera ID: Canon EOS 7D Mark II).
