I've just developed an odd problem with my brand new Sony A7III.

I turn it off and it won't go on again. If I remove the battery and immediately put it back it turns on. My adult son (a Canon enthusiast) was fooling with it this morning so he may have done something with one of the endless menu items.\\Any Ideas?

No he didn't do anything. Any ideas, please
 
How would any of us know what happened to your camera???????????

I would try a complete reset back to factory defaults. That’s about all I can come up with.

I assume the battery is charged?

When you reinsert the battery and it goes back on, how long does it stay on?

Probably reasonable to clean the battery contacts.
