I have ditched premiere pro for Resolve too. Runs very well on my older GTX970 card, CUDA cores are great. Home videos never look better!I have downloaded free version of DaVinci Resolve 15 and it plays 4K clips smootly, renders faster, grading tools are excellent, I find the UI so far quite user friendly and starting to watch some YT tutorials. If someone can point me to some good tutorials of basics and even more advanced I'd appreciate it. So far it looks like I will give Premiere a flick....In OZ it costs $30 a month, it looks like no brainer to me if I can do my stuff on a free software. Long a winding road ahead for sure, learning a new software always is but I am determined to give DaVinci Resolve a try.
Have fun!
Thanks man! BTW my NVidia utilization in Resolve when rendering jumped from 2% in Premiere to 24% in Resolve. That alone compared to Premiere can't be a bad thing![]()
