Hello,

I am looking for a new monitor.

Must have:
  • 27" minimum
  • 2560*1440px minimum
  • hardware calibration (internal 3D-LUT)
  • good viewing angles (although not critical, I will NOT have somebody looking over my shoulder)
  • good panel uniformity
  • smooth gradient reproduction
Good to have:
  • "4K" / UltraHD resolution
  • good Adobe RGB coverage
  • good DCI-P3 coverage
  • HDR (HLG and/or PQ)
  • hood
Important note: I am familiar with color management and wide gamut monitors. I own an X-Rite i1Display Pro colorimeter.

Budget:
  • target: less than 1000€
  • maximum 1200€
Important note: second hand/refurb monitors are OK

Purpose:
  • photo editing (90%)
  • video editing (10%)
I was considering:
  • BenQ SW271 (about 1000€ refurb from rusted seller)
  • BenQ SW320
  • Dell UP3216Q
But I am open to any other suggestion!

Thanks!

for 1.2K Euro you should be able to get a NEC PA272W 27" monitor plus the SpectrView software/hardware package! this monitor is superb. i got mine for that much here in the US. i have had mine for a year and enjoy using it for photo processing very much. good luck.
