I did a quick comparison between them and apart from waiting much, much longer for the giga to do its stuff am not seeing a whole load of difference except in the sky maybe and there is definitely less noise from what I can tell with giga, although I used no lum nr at all either in raw on cc pd2, which can be applied.

Any thoughts on difference, possibly could do others but the wait for giga is definitely a limitation.

It seemed to me that Topaz AI Gigapixel made a slightly better job of the drystone walls and the foreground grass stalks - but I suspect that a better way of making comparisons like this is to print off both examples and review the results with a magnifying lens. Tough for an online audience!

Even then you might prefer the overall outcome of one to the other irrespective of sharpness etc.

And that might change due to subject matter...

I think giga is slightly better, but this is crazy stuff from both as they are both pretty incredible results.

Ya ok I'll tell you where Gigapixel smokes PS crop a photo like a wildlife one then upsize to 400-600% then come back and say "Just a little difference"

Ok, interesting, I’ll give it a try.

OK, I take back my initial analysis, looking at them through a 4k screen this changes my observations

sky is much better, as per my initial observation but on 4k screen, very impressive. I could make a huge, huge print from this.
