Hi guys. I like to try a little bit of everythinf in photography but since I was a kid cars and motorsports were a big passion of mine. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The Alfa is separated nicely from the background by the light. The Porsche on the other hand demonstrates how difficult it is to blur a busy background into oblivion.

I like that you used a longish lens and a low viewpoint, it makes the cars seem more powerful.

Good luck and good light.

Thanks alot.

Yeah, shooting cars at 135mm equivlent is a big challenge.

Is the porsche shot pleasing to you, or did it not work that time in your opinion?

I love the point of view and quality that the 1.8 85mm gets, but it has some crazy crazy CA and fringing!

Thanks!

I like the pics, I probably wouldn't have bothered to blur out the number plates.

I like the Alfa shot best. I think the background in the Porsche picture is drawing too much attention - not a bad shot but perhaps another angle had presented a better background?

Unfortunately, when we photograph things in the real world, we can't just move them around and light them as we please.

Yes, the 85 f/1.8 has a lot of longitudinal CA, and once you start seeing it, it becomes intolerable.
