Playing with Heart

Baco...there were a lot of complaints about the jersey situation and some pretty sketchy calls as a result. It was definitely a problem.
nice shots Dane.... I would hate to have to ref that game with two
jerseys that much alike. Hard to tell whos who on the pitch....

I haven't gotten pictures that sharp with the B300...what kind of
exposures did you use? What ISO?
Isabel
ISO 100
Shutter 1/1000th
Exposure +0.3EV
Zoom...max optical (I never use the digital range)
Sharpened in PhotoImpact by one notch

I think the key to the clarity is the use of a monopod and sharpening in PhotoImpact, which is a highly underrated program.

Great sharp pictures! One question though (I'm a newbie :) ) :

are these made with AutoFocus or ManualFocus? I've had very little experience with action photo's and I really like to learn some more!

I used the tcon 17 this summer and had no troubles at all....look here:

Shutter priority, as close to 1/1000 as light will permit, auto iso unless I thought about it, and then 100.

Wonder what the differnece was/is for you?

These shots were done using the autofocus. I simply press the shutter half way down to activate the autofocus and follow the action through the viewfinder until I see something worth shooting.

Thanks!!
