Hi folks, is it possible to sync edits between different c1pro copies? I did some edits on laptop during holidays and now I'd like to carry them over to the main system.

I tried to look for sidecars, edits copying abd so on but with no luck. Is it possible at all?

Many thanks!

I believe you pack as EIP and import that to C1 on your desktop.

You might try the Facebook group The Capture One Collective, a lot of good people there who can help with these things.

This adds raw into a single package with edits? I suppose one can't restore the original by doing this?

Currently, I ended up by doing the edits in laptop but left the raw files into the camera, which I copied over only later on to the main pc.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Simplest way is to edit on laptop in a session Copy session to desktop and that's it if you work in sessions on the desktop or import the session into the desktop catalogue

--I do Lt have immediate access to C1, but I think under the export menu you can export the original file with edits for a flash drive and the import the image into your desk top.

As Ian said the easiest way is to work in a session on your laptop, this then creates sidecar files. This is also a great way to cull, move all the keepers into the selects folder inside C1 and then use the import tool with your catalogue making sure to check the box for keep previous edits

Easier than using sessions is to use catalogues. Just on file, that needs to be synced/ imported. sessions don’t hold all information in one place, but are distributed around file space. I non technical user might struggle with the generic locations sessions do store and reference to sources
