Good Afternoon!

Puhhh...it took me 3 days to come to a result I'm not happy with, but believe it can be shown.

After I saw in my widefield made with the 35mm lens of the Perseid Meteor Shower, that the comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner is flying near the Heart- and Soul Nebula, I used 3 days later the 180mm lens instead and could get in one of my frames shot even a late Perseid too.

;-)

So, two stacks made - one of comet, one of starfield, blended together and the final step being the one frame with the Perseid using layers in PS:

Heart- and Soul Nebula combined with comet and meteor

best regards,

Very nice work, sir.

Hi!

Nice, but where is the meteor?

OK, got him now. Sorry, but I’m using an Ipad ...
Hehe...me too using an iPad.

Great you found the Perseid.

👍😁

best regards,
Very nice Michael! That is one tiny meteor.
Hi Roger!

Hehe, sry, sadly no fireball crossing my images in that night.

😊👍

Michael

You may want to have a look at the OPT TRIAD filter....with your degree and detail to image capture...you would do the TRIAD filter justice.

Hi Peter!

Thx for the tip...but I'll work as long as it's possible without any kind of filter.
Hope my neighbours bear with me.
;-)

best regards,

Michael, very nice indeed! Great detail. Thanks for sharing your image.

Maybe I see the meteor bottom right corner....
