I am about to buy The Hensel Grand Mini 85, along with a Hensel to Bowens converter for use on a Godox studio strobe. It folds up like an umbrella, which means you don't have to insert and remove the rods when going on location. You just open and close it, like the Godox S7. The inner diffuser can be taken out and used as a diffuser.

It seems like a nice product, but if anyone knows of a cheaper comparable alternative, I am surely interested! Otherwise, I assume I will be using this happily for a long time.

Adorama Flashpoint EZ-Lock 38” softbox. I have the 28” version. Comes with a fabric eggcrate grid. The light quality is very good. Construction seems solid. The Bowens-S type mount is included (but can be changed out.

This design is faster to setup and put away than traditional softboxes are but the price you pay for the rods remaining connected is that when it is packed up it is bulkier as it does not lay flat the way the Chimera Lighting design (separate rods and speedring) are.

I'd say that's the winner so far with its sale price.
This one is even cheaper, but does not include the grid. Even cheaper as a 2 pack - $60 each

So I guess we've gone from $400 (plus $25 for deflector plate and $319 for the grid) all the way down to about $85 with deflector plate and grid or $70 with deflector but without grid.

And they all pretty much look the same, the more expensive one may be a better build but it's nice to have the options.

Amazing really.

Doesn't appear to fold / collapse. (Q&A there says it does, but the photos here show a traditional spoke-in-hole speedring)
It's a spoke in the hole design (I have one). That being said it's pretty easy to set up.
My bad, I have a Godox that looks quite similar which is collapsible, albeit with Godox mount fitting the AD600, and it was now way nearly as expensive as your Hensel.

I bought it in Denmark where I live, so a link will not be of much help to you.

An extra 80 usd is required for shipping to Belgium, but it still is the cheapest.

Customs may also charge some, though.

This seems roughly equivalent in sale in the UK https://www.essentialphoto.co.uk/product/pixapro-deeppara90-parabolic-softbox/ (egg crate is £22.99 extra). Shipping £9 to Belgium. I always seem to be hit with customs duty with items from the USA.
