Center focus point Q?

Is there any way to reecenter the focus point quickly without the ”wheel” buttons?

feels like i should know this But il ask anyhow

This is one thing I miss too. Fuji allowed me to blindly reset the focus point while walking. Olympus has a system too. But Q has better quality buttons so I try not to mind that much.

Yes. Try a double tap on the screen. It works, at least on mine, when in single point AF mode.

yes, that's it. double tap screen, recenter of single point focus from anywhere to center.

Aha thats great! I am going to try that right away. Its a pretty nice feature to have to be able to center it when shooting street photography so its something i felt it would be very nice to have, but never really dove into manuals and stuff to check out and couldn't fint it on my own

I really wish they'd adopt a few more Panasonic features and make the touchscreen more useful when in VF mode - e.g. double tap being active when you're using the VF, and ideally the ability to slew the focus point quicker than the D-pad.
