"Nikon P1000 vs Nikon D850 - Macro test
This morning between the warm lights of dawn a nice sharpness test of two machines at the top of technology.
Same subject, same settings, same time, angles with slightly different angles.
Very different distances.
Shot Data: 1/125 s, Iso100, F / 6.3, easel
With the and nikkor 200 mm micro d had to be at a distance of about 1 M from the mantis.
With the P1000 I was about 6 meters from the mantis.
Audience Raw as out of machines and converted to jpg with Nikon capture nx-D. No post production.
The sequence of images leaves with the entire frame, then with a detail at 50 %, then 100 % and finally one to 200 %.
(the details of the P1000 have been ricampionati to reach the size of those)
To note the greater depth of field field despite the greater distance from the subject.
Personal Opinion: making macro, in optimal condition, with the is much easier. I can stay a lot further from the subject and it's much easier to keep it on fire even with a single shot.
On the other hand, I have to be a lot closer with the d850 and it's much easier to rile up Even wrong slightly the fire is much easier with the d850 than with the P1000.
In Case of a quiet subject a plus of D850 is the automatic focus focus in addition to the other countless settings and customizations that the does not have. The strength of the file file even in the single shot is definitely higher, engraved and devoid of artifacts especially if enlarged to 100 %. The resolution of 45 mpx united to a full frame bsi sensor in detail makes a huge difference In favour of d850.
Looking though the first 2 Images At Full screen and without larger ones are not so different.
Do I recommend to a neophyte or an enthusiast of small subjects? Definitely yes.
For the most experts instead, it will be more rewarding and returns exciting images of details and nuances. Has many more tools to improve the quality and customization of images. But the costs are certainly greater.
