OK Guys....a little FLAME BREAK Here!

Some background information concerning these shots.

When Tara asked me to do the photography work for her, my first question was "How Sexy do you want them?"...because I know that it's not easy for "everybody" to look beautiful, look sexy, look non posed, look emotionally involved in the work and be comfortable in front of a camera, especially when they are 2 days from turning 30 years old, have 2 children and when they have NEVER done any modeling or portraiture work before in their life. Yes some people do great at this and many of them make tons of money as strippers but taking a pretty picture and taking a very sexy and hot picture are "USUALLY" 2 different things all together.

Secondly, the shots you see here were from the 2 of us goofing around for about an hour to get used to each other. People were standing around starring, cars slowed down as they went by, a construction crew from the building across the street stopped to watch and a trolley that circled the park we were at, stopped and people in it were taking pictures of us!

And after the first 5 minutes I was having a hard time thinking about the shot setup and trying to remember to release the !@#$ shutter button because she was so beautiful and so into the shoot....because of this I think we both got kind of carried away. (at least I did, anyway)

With all this said, I know there are tons of things I need to work on and that is the exact reason why I posted these and asked for help...Please Please, Please don't use this thread as a means to attack anyone.

Thank You All very much for your comments and please keep them coming.

Don't touch them! Anyone with blood in his veins will never see the
blurry background as distracting buildings. Nice work.

Your file size of 400x267 is kinda small to work with, but these
tones looked better to me. Comments?

I think your pictures are great and the model was just beautiful. I rather spend all my time looking at the model and enjoying these pictures than to troll around the edges and look for junk.

Sometimes I wonder how a person can read a newspaper in a reasonable time when looking at the accompanying pictures to the news articles meant looking at the surrounding objects and criticizing every object visible.

Maybe a warning would please, "Warning-These are not studio shots. "

Keep up the good work.

Tejay, all the shots are great, though I like the last one best.

Two minor suggestions:

1. In the last image, clean up the dark circles under Tara's eyes. They're at odds with the otherwise smooth, even skin tones.

2. I may be wrong, but it seems that in the first three pics Tara is wearing a bra under the skivvy. This to me makes the images seem amateurish.

Good luck in your new undertaking. (-:

what I meant was that it doesn't look good to see the top of the bra and the straps. (IMHfemaleO)

Thanks Donna

I like your suggestion about her eyes and yes she was wearing a bra under the tank top. The additional pictures we took in the studio didn't have that same problem.

A little lady with her grandkids ran them out of the park when Tara started posing on the bench. To me this was the signal that maybe we needed to go to the studio.

Thanks Again

I like the second the best. The color is better than the B&W.

I think they are nice shots as well, but in each she has her eyes shut - perhaps some with eyes wide open could look good as well
