Who said the DSLR is dead?? (NSFW)

It says "edited in Analog Efex" so they might be part of the retro film look.

Correct it’s just one of the filters , I wasn’t around in the film days but I’m guessing if things weren’t very clean and top of the line you’d see things in the images , I believe you can even see hairs and dust bunnies thru out the image
The benefits of doing such a thing escape me.

It’s just another editing option that I use for certain pics that give a unique look to a pic, sorta like something you’d find in magazines while I was growing up , here’s another same filter without the black specs and other little contaminants

Why's this lady got electrical tape on her chest? Has she got high-voltage nipples?

Mirrorless would overheat in this kind of situation, unless someone can post images to prove otherwise. :-D

Thanks - It's a little limiting posting under forum guidelines, but you get the idea.

You should give the new Nikon mirrorless a try when it's launched.

Shooting available light portraiture like this is greatly enhanced by using EVF vs OVF - and the end result is a better in-camera result, a higher hit rate, and better over-all image quality.

Going back to OVF feels like the stone age, once you've made the switch.

Never is a mighty long time

My suggestion, based on moving from 20+ years of Canon 1 series bodies and L lenses, is this - don't knock it until you've tried it
