Italy trip - which prime

I’m taking a trip to Italy next year. Camera is A7iii. I have the 24-105 f4 and 85 f1.8. I would like to get a fast prime for indoors and landscapes, streets. Suggestions?

Yeah Laslo ; not sure you are making the right call here...

BUT you also did not give anyone much to go on. Some guess Italy means you are going to the big 3 of Rome, Venice and Florence or 2 of those 3 but really who knows where the heck in Italy you are going and what you want to photograph?

You mention the fast prime is for indoors but the 55 is too long for much of anything indoors, except for outdoor portraits not sure you are going to use that lens on this trip over your 24-105 ; guess I would say similar about the 85 you decided to keep at home.

Agreed, if walking the cities, the Roman Forum, churches and museums are in the mix, a UWA is mandatory.

I never leave home without it!

24-70 GM

16-35 GM ( I would never bother with a single wide prime while traveling)

Batis 25

in the past I have taken the 28 and the 35/2.8 but the images from the 25 are "more special".

The question is: that ceiling has been photographed so many times and in such detail, why even do it yourself? What exactly is your photo adding, that thousands of others have not already?
Why go to Rome if there have been millions of other people before?
