Just a few shots from past few months. a6500 has only been in my hands a couple weeks, so mainly I’m still playing with it. But my a6000 will always be a great back up body now.

Great shots! Do you see a lot of improvement in the AF ?

Very nice shots.

I'm still rocking the A6000 but the A6500 is very much in my future.

nice shots, first and last in particular which i assume have less cropping than the rest?

could maybe use a bit of highlight reduction in a few and the cheetah seems way too bright/saturated?

Thanks... Yup cropping and some also shot in jpeg for fast WiFi upload and only edited via very basic functionality. The Cheetah shot was midday sun in Botswana and one of those in camera compressed shots. Normally I’d shoot in raw and post process properly, but in some cases did it on the fly. Posted some of those as well, purely because it highlights that the Alpha series is very capable in many light situations and formats. Should’ve noted the jpg v RAW as well, totally forgot.

To add, the highlight/saturation issues (which I agree are there) are easily overcome in usual post processing tools, which I may do when I go through the thousands of images I have. All images here are quick processed or jpg out the camera on the fly whilst I’m away from home. Posted these just to demonstrate different lighting scenarios in main and how Alpha series with native lens copes pretty well.

Nice captures. Be careful about highlights clipping while shooting, there are some areas blown out that can't be recovered. eg. the cheek in shot #4.

Check the histogram in the Viewfinder (DISP button on the wheel) and make use of exposure compensation to avoid highlights clipping (bellow button on the wheel), as i can see in the EXIF data none of them has EC dialed up or down.

I have the FE70-300 in the wish list for my a6000.

Keep sharing.
