Hi,

Wow, you really captured the power of those waterfalls. Nice shooting. And the sheep look great too!

Best wishes,

Omelko

Thanks Mike.

We are doing the island counter clockwise - can't wait for the big one.

Cheers

Wonderful and accurate, are you already at Dettifoss? or was that a different waterfalls?

Hi Omelko,

Only realize I should have brought the DFA 15-30 lens - only have the DFA* 70-200 with me - so I improvise, which is the best way to capture the power of this waterfall - I like the result.

The two little cute ones are "spring" lamb - just born. Almost every mother lamb has two offspring.

Great pics, so jealous of your trip! Don't forget to take a breath and look over the viewfinder once in a while with your own eyes to take it all in. Sometimes I have to force myself to hit that slide switch over to video and grab a short clip of stuff like those falls, or sheep with her little lambs, just because well, as much as we like stills, some things just lend themselves to video and help with memories that we won't appreciate until years later.

Thanks EricV.

Glad you like the images.

The sight was impressive and forged into my memory forever.

Cheers

Re: More from Iceland

Was a simple 2 hour stop-over for a plane change at Reykjavík, hence, no time for photo-op. Lucky for me to have window seat on the side of the plane that offered these view as we approach the airport.

Hi BrownieVet,

Next time do a 3 days stop over - it is enough to see some of the major sites.

Cheers

Three Days, ONLY. When I spend a fortune in airfare, I try to stay at least 7 days. The only exception was Antartica. One day was enough for me.
