Steve Perry just posted about its applications. As this seems to improve on the Databanks, hopefully the D500 and D850 will have this added in future firmware :-)

It really isn't all that comparable to data banks.

It certainly doesn't improve the banks, nor is it a remedy to the 'sticky' design fault that many of us find with them. When I first started watching Perry's video, that's what I was hoping for.

But yes, I would love to have it in a firmware for the D850.

I followed his suggestions but... no. I press the button and get 36 - 24 (??)

You must've missed a step. (I'm sure you've deduced that but for others). The default for the Fn1 is the format dimension in mm so nothing changed.
