Hi all,

i wasn't sure wat to put in as a subject so it mite not be appropriate ;-).

i've brought a IXUS 400 around 4 months ago from Amazon.co.uk...

but recently when i try to use the modes like video and stitch, they dont seem to work, but manual and auto mode seem to work fine.

i know it's not a major problem, but i was wondering wat i could do about it, like if i could just update the firmware, or could i resort to getting a replacement or sumthing?

cheers,
thank you in advance

Your camera, of course, is still under warranty. You may need to send it to Canon service.

Things like video and stitch are just software routines run by the camera's microprocessor, it would be extremely unlikely to have just certain parts of the program stop working. After all, we are not talking about Windows here:) I would guess that you have some setting switched on, that causes this behavior in your camera. If you can find a reset switch on the camera try that, or take the battery out for a couple of days. If it still does not work, it might be time to have it repaired, it suppose it is possible that the switch that changes modes is broken.
