L-bracket for A6500 with more height extension?

Hello, i am using an A6500. Very nice camera, but the height of the body is not high enough for my hands. Tried several L-brackets from ebay and amazon, but they will extend the bodys height only up to 10-11 mm.

From Metro Case there is a L-bracket with height of 16 mm, but it is not made of alloy - instead it seems 3D-printed.

Smallrigs now have a prototype of an bracket for the A7III that will add 20 mm - wuld be perfect

They have a nice rig for the A6500, but it is only 11 mm. I asked them if the would build a version with 20 mm for the A6500, but they answered, they will only build one, that will fit the standard hand size

For protrait photos i am using the Meike /Neewer / Vello grip for the A6500 - but for everyday it is too big.

Do you know a manufacturer that will build what i am searching for?

It’s probably not what you’re looking for, but the Sony LCS-EBG leather half case adds a bit more than an L-bracket, not only in terms of height, but also depth, and leaves expedient access to all ports and doors.

Well, I hope so anyway :/ Mine is arriving next week. I did use the older EBS version for the A6000/6300 though, and found it very well designed and built.

thank you, but i talked to sonys customer service and they told me, that it will add only 11 mm.

should be perfect for you, the version for the 6500 is made of genuine leather , not PU leater.

Have you looked into battery grips?

A bit pricey but that seem to add lots of height to the camera

That's too bad, I also had the hope that this would add more than centimeter in height (well, it does, but it's still only 11mm).

I've seen some third-party leather half cases online that seem to be taller. Have you asked them? Companies like Gariz, for example.
