Very nice color and details! I wish they find a more elegant way of tagging them, though...
Thank you for your comment. I agree with you about the tags. The first time I saw them they looked like a NY City Yellow Cab to me. However the volunteer group caring for this re-introduction (there are about 1000 swans now in Ontario) relies on general public sightings to know where these swans are. Last year one was hit by a car in PA and was nursed back to health and then flew to Northern Ontario where it was sighted in New Liskeard. A volunteer traveled up to make sure the swan was OK. They also have leg bands (left leg for females and right leg for males).

What an awesome project.

Shot yesterday with the light 400 gr. version of the MD 200/4 lens (MD II) directly adapted to NEX 16.2MP APS-C with cheap Chinese no-name adapter.

NEX-C3 ISO 200 1/2500 F4

Exemplary IO_Bg. Environmental Birdie, Wildlife photography my favourite. This Robin is one of the superlative environmental Robin photographs I have observed on dpr.

Well worth trekking to the forest to capture. Tilt screen X-T10 demonstrated it's usefulness. Focusing accurately manually on tiny Robin no easy task.

Thanks! The robin was actually quite still and I could take a few frames. The Tamron is a bit soft wide open so IQ wasn't exceptional. I could've stopped down but then would've lost the shallow DOF effect.

You are very welcome ! Dreamy from shallow dof like Narnia : right choice. In such cases sharpness takes a back seat.

This DKL-mount lens renders so beautifully. Contrasty and sharp with great bokeh. I need to get out more with it and I will, but I must say the minimum focus distance of 4m is somewhat limiting. I used an extension tube to get this one.

I spend a lot of my life chaperoning my kids at birthday parties. Once you've caught up with the other parents, there's not much to do except look for interesting photos in the architecture of wherever we happened to be this given Saturday.
