Visited a friend this week and chit-chatted about cameras and live in general. Took a photo in relatively low light with a Novoflex Adapter and a 55mm manual focus lens.

Kind of like the look. Tough to focus though. This camera allow focus highlighting, and focus peaking. But not together. Go figure...

Good pose.

However, are you sure you don't want to show the striking eye colour that's usual for these birds?

Nice one.

Love the tonality, great portrait!

Well seen, I like the symmetry too. Have a great weekend!

I'm beginning to think that B&W shows the personality of the bird better than colour. Or is it just my imagination?

Great tit in snowfall.

But my favourites are the crested tits. They are so expressive!

Listening to its dietist. Yeah, my birds are well-nourished. They practice LCHF, by the way.

Very nice!

This set is beautiful! You have excellent ranges of white to black. Well done!

Very nice shots

Put a color version side by side, then ask yourself the question again!

Other than personality, a color version will show off the distinctive plumage, of course.

It's common to see completely blurred backgrounds with so many photographs of small birds, which becomes a bit monotonous for me; so I like especially those of yours when some semblance of design is hinted at in the background, such as this one.
Very nice work with all of them.
