I bought another laptop and wanted to install Viewer 2, but cannot find it for download.
Viewer 2 had some great features that are absent in Viewer 3. I used Viewer on a limited basis (I used some features), but never used it to "catalog" my files or as an organizational tool. I apparently didn't save the zip version in my download file on my old laptop. Any "links" I've found in Google misleadingly take you to Viewer 3.

Do you have the CD that came with your camera?

The CD I got with my E-M5 (mark 1) has OV2 (for PC and Mac) on it.

Well according to Olympus support:

Get OLYMPUS Viewer 2
* Free download service was terminated on April 8, 2013.

Send me a PM if you'd like a copy of the EM-5 CD posted somewhere...

Just curious, which features got dropped going from OV2 to OV3? Also, can you use OV2 to update newer camera and lenses firmware?

As far as I know, Olympus Camera Updater is a separate program.
I liked OV2 because of its simplicity and the fact that I could easily resize.

Do you have a copy of the cd? Or like and ISO or Zip file of OV2?

Shoot me a reply or what have you, would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Peter Forsgard just put out a video on the new features of the new OM 2 Workspace. He show where to get directly to the download page for both Windows and Macs.

Do you really want Olympus Viewer 2? Olympus Viewer was superseded by Olympus Workspace a few years ago. Olympus Workspaces is now known as OM Workspace and is currently at v2.0. It does anything Viewer2 did but faster and better, and also does a lot more, including firmware updating.

It can be downloaded from

Software Download | OM Workspace | OM Digital Solutions (olympus-imaging.com)

If you still want Viewer 2 or the other files that came with the original E-M5, I have copies on the cloud on my OneDrive. Viewer2 can be found in the data folder of the E-M5i setup CD.

The link will work for the next 7 days.

I use OV2 to resize & convert only. I'm not sure about Workspace as I don't really like to use overly complicated software.

I mostly use Olympus Workspace for crop, tilt and resize. Olympus Workspace opens in 3 seconds on my lowly notebook (Thinkpad L13). Crop and tilt is on one page. Resize is on the export dialog.

Unlike other well known commercial bloatware I have tried, one does not need to import any images to be able to work on them. In Windows Explorer simply right click on the image (jpeg, tiff, or orf) you want to edit and select open with OM Workspace.

I suggest you give it a try, you may find it fits your needs.
