Speculating about who should or should not buy a camera that is speculated to be in development is quite an odd pastime!
Errrr, been around DPR long? It's standard fare here (and that's not a value judgement -- I see no issue with it myself).

Based solely on early spec leaks, it sounds very interesting to me. I'd like a second body and IBIS is a very compelling technology if well implemented IMHO. No decisions though until specs, early reviews, etc. are out.

As others have suggested your poll did not have an option to account for the likely release of an X-T3 this year. I will likely get a new Fuji body this year but X-H1 or -T3 to be determined. As for IBIS, it is a nice to have not need/must have feature for me.

No, because I am not made of money.

After much saving, I treated myself to an X-T20. I plan on keeping it for at least 5 years before buying a new body. At that point, I'll probably cross shop the X-T60, X-T6, X-Pro6, X-E7and X-H5. By then I will have had years of experience with the X-T20 and will also (hopefully) be better off financially and able to afford higher models.

I can't say anything definite about a camera that doesn't exist!

But I'm not planning to buy any cameras in the next year or so at all, and no lenses until this holiday season. A wonderful secondhand bargain might change that, of course.

Ha! New in town! I haven’t looked in to any of the details but IBS would be a very welcome addition, for sure.

Hi all,

OP here. Thanks for supporting the poll. Just a quick note here. Some dear forumers pointed out that there was no D/K option to choose. I am aware of that when I put together the poll. The D/K option was intentionally omitted to enhance the meaningfulness of the poll given this is a single question attitudinal/intentional poll. Also the profile of needed respondants was considered when I decided to omit the D/K option.

If you find that you have no substantive opinion ( due to the fact that you really have zero opinion or any other reason/concerns ), and insist that you will only opt for D/K, this poll may not be for you.

However, you are absoultely welcome to respond to the thread and tell us more about your thoughts.

But again, this is just a casual poll. So please relax, have fun and enjoy sharing your voice.

Thanks for checking in and your support.

Cheers!

Guess?

Shifting one of my XT2's the moment its available - assuming there are no deal breakers in the actual spec.

I feel no need to put my X-E2 and X-T1 to pasture. Now that X-E2s are so cheap, I’ll probably buy another one or two so that i have a body for each of my most used lenses. There is something to be said for the kind of intimacy and efficiency that comes from long term operation of a camera . . . That sweet spot where mind, body and device are in concentrated harmony.

If the 50-140 f/2.8 and 100-400 focused down to 1:2 then I'd be replacing my X-T1 with the X-H1. Instead of returning to Olympus.
