I just bought my.first godox wistro 360 ii with the.battery pack.

I will be using it for location fashion both outdoor and indoor

I am looking for a few suggestion as to what i should buy for my needs?

I will need a godox trigger.for high sync ? Can it be fired using my canon ex600 flash mounted on my camera?

Also what accessories will be good to buy for my needs? (Modifiers...carrybag etc.)

Check out FlashHavoc.com, which has quite a bit of information on the Godox line.

You will need some sort of TTL trigger or the Godox trigger system to activate HSS.

Youll want a Bowens (or Elinchrom) S bracket for most modifiers. But check out the site for suggestions. You probably should have done some of that research before buying the gear.

I ve seen the godox x1c triggers. Will i need a transmitter and a receiver or just a transmitter?

What's that mean?

Shooting on a 150 foot yacht off the coast of South Carolina> At the municipal art gallery? On a portable runway at the convention center?

Will this be your only light.

With what kind of camera?Canon, I assume, but with or without a built-in Canon flash and optical trigger?

What will you use high speed sync for?

= = = =

I understand Godox instructions are not too good.

I'd start with a lightsphere and a small umbrella on a 7 - 8 foot light stand.

You will just need the transmitter. The beauty of the Godox system is that everything has built-in receivers. The good news is the Godox transmitters are very reasonably priced. the X1-c is fine, but I would get the XPro-C. Its a bigger screen, great layout and easier to make changes and it's only $69.

Also, if you haven't gotten it already, I would highly recommend getting the Y adapter so you can plug your light into BOTH terminals on the battery. This will give you much shorter recycle times, which might come in handy for fashion work.

I'm not sure if the Godox trigger works with the built-in receiver on the Canon unit.

I wasn't talking about the canon unit. I thought he was talking about the 360. I may have missed something.

If he wants to make his life MUCH easier, he should sell that Canon flash and buy one or two of the Godox units. Then he won't have to frankenstein a system.

Didn't think you were but the OP was asking about both triggering the Godox 360II (the original didn't have a built in receiver but I gather the II does) and his Canon flash.

Though I'd hate to tell someone to sell an OEM flash (that they may not receive a high enough return on, because people will compare the asking price to a new third-party flash) vs. just picking up a Godox receiver if it's available.

'Nice pen, bet you write good stories with it.'
I use my canon ex600rt as my main oncamera flash for events so am not selling it :)

I will be using it for example in a forest to light a model

it will be my only light

my camera (if it matters that much ) is a canon 6d

What about the godox ad2 reflector? I will need a modifier that can spread the light but also not to loose too much power I need as much light as possible to go to my model

I think that depends on your needs. :)

No, but it's probably the easiest way to do it. I would recommend an XPro-C trigger , as it has the best features set and user interface.
Can it be fired using my canon ex600 flash mounted on my camera?
Yes, but not over radio. The AD360II can be put into "smart" optical slave mode (see page 45 of the user manual for instructions), and used over Canon's optical wireless system, with the 600EX-RT as the optical on-camera master.

The Canon RT radio triggering system and the Godox X triggering system are not compatible with each other.

You could also use a Phottix Laso receiver or a Yongnuo YN-E3-RX receiver on the foot of the AD360II if you wanted to use the 600EX-RT as a master radio unit, but most of us have drunk the Godox Kool-Aid and would probably just recommend you get a V860II-C or TT685-C as an on-camera master speedlight instead. :)

Godox does have a page for all the modifiers they make that attach directly to the AD360II, but I think the only universal purchases might be the S-Type bracket for mounting to a light stand and using Bowens-mount modifiers, and the metal bulb covers. Maaaaybe the DB-02 Y-cable for the PB960 to speed up recycle time.
