Canon's camera strategy document includes "promoting the internal production of key parts and key components".
My guess is that Canon will eventually make their own 1" sensors, which will have Dual Pixel CMOS AF.

No. 100mm is already minimally adequate.
I'd expect much the same, but with 4K video. Maybe an EVF, like the RX100's.
