Calm mysterious
Thank you

Hi Erik, This is a local drive-in/diner that is somewhat of a legend. They have been in business since 1954 and have some of the best burgers, root beer and milkshakes in the area. The Mopar car club that I am a member of meets there the 2nd Friday of every month to hang out. We have had as many as 35 or so cars there at times, taking over the entire parking lot!

P.S. My car is the white one at the far end.

Great to see that kind of small-city pride and cohesiveness.

Now, I'm only guessing....... but it looks like it MAY be a Coors and Mopar Town!

Thanks for the posts.

I agree with Elmo - let's call this one "Shazzam" as it's title for the beautiful sunburst which makes the ƒ11 diffraction an arresting part of the image - GREAT !

I love that there is still sunlight on the foreground rocks although they would seem to be in shadow. Terrific shot.

No effects processing have been applied to these photo, they are as the alleyway appeared.

So interesting.

I love looking around in pictures of different places - particularly places I probably won't be able to visit personally.

The contrast, here, between the apparently improvised water supply, and the amazing carefully - crafted rooflines is (over-used word alert) "mind-blowing"!

Thanks !!

It never stops to amazes me how people are different.

When I saw this and decided that it may make a good picture it was because of the muted, washed out look of everything. I never noticed the everyday life details that you did.

This is in an area of a walled city of about 10 blocks in each direction. The city wall was originally built in the 15th century. I believe much of the city is over 100 years old.

Here are a few more photos from the walled city. They are not really good pictures, but they show what the place is like.

One of the structures in the city. We did not get to go there so I have no idea whether this is open to people to visit.
