any brand is okay but not the 14-24mm f2.8 since it is expensive :((

im going to shoot nature landscapes and some street.

Consider the Sigma 17-70 C.

Presumably, you are happy with your Tokina 11-16mm, so need a lens to complement, not replace your Tokina. The Nikkor 16-85mm and 16-80mm both seem to be well-regarded. My wife is pleased with the pre-owned Nikkor 16-85mm we bought, soon after her D500. The 16-80mm, of course, has the advantage of f/2.8, at the wide end, which is more useful to some photographers than others.

I love my Nikkor 14-24/2.8G. It is heavy, and does not accept easily-installed, threaded filters, but it fits my left hand very well, and I use it mostly in low light, when neutral density and polarizing filters are not used, anyway. I bought mine after about four years of dreaming, wishing, and budgeting. Realizing the success of a “grail” quest is sweet.

To be clear, the 14-24/2.8G is an FX lens. To get the 14mm “equivalent” angle-of-view, on a DX camera, would require an 8mm lens. Sigma may make a zoom that starts at 8mm, but I know nothing about it.

Nikon USA may still be offering a $300 point-of-sale “instant” rebate on the Nikkor AF-S 17-55mm DX, if you are in the USA, and that price fits your budget.

I suggest the sigma 18-35. Sharp as a tack.

I think you need to clarify exactly you are looking for to compliment the Tokina 11-16, wider, longer ?????

You could go with a 18-55 or 18-140 kit lens. For a prime the AF-S 35 1.8G.

sorry guys im looking for longer mm.

i read a few articles that the best landscape trinity would be the

14-24 2.8, 24-70 2.8 and 70-200.

i have read a lot of good things about the 16-35 f4. any alternatives for that?

That's not a landscape trinity. Those are just a set of very good, very expensive FX lenses that professionals depend on. Yeah, they work good on landscapes too.

Another FX lens. Do you have a normal zoom like an 18-55? That would work well for landscapes.

If you want good focal length coverage, get a 16-80.

When I was shooting landscapes with a DX Nikon, I used a 10-24 and a 16-85. Covered everything quite well.
