As a owner of the D750, I would just LOVE to see that kinds of shots all you lucky ducks with your D850 cameras are getting! Would really like to be "convinced" to upgrade, hahahaha!

Okay, enough chit chat! Let's see those amazing photos!

Haven't had a lot of time since getting my D850 to shoot many images from the D850. Don't know about "amazing", but here are some of a mixed bag of mine so far. I mainly shoot birds and hence the bird-centric offerings.

Nice shots Lance. Love 2 & 4. Placed my order for the D850 last week so should have it within the next few weeks. Here is one of mine shot with the D5 & 24/70

Works great with my 70-200 VRII

And 14-24 f2.8 G

But not so much with my Tamron 150-600 G2

or the Tamron 90mm G2

I feel that the D850 will require the best out of the lenses being used, while the d750 seems to be more forgiving optically. The d850 definitely has better AF speed and accuracy however. I did get the D850 to replace my D750 and D800e for Landscapes, Portrait, events, while I will use my D500 for wildlife and actions shoots....

Lovely shot. That Sigma Art 135mm is certainly a drool-worthy lens!

Some great compositions for sure, but curious about the noise levels in the shots?

My favourite so far out of about 900 photos taken. Sure, I could have done it with any of my cameras, but this does look really nice printed at 112x63cm (approx 44x24.8 inches) and it was straightforward with the D850.

Surprise View

D850+24-120 f4, CaptureNX-D to get the 16:9 crop.

Got to love the high ISO, too!

ISO 208000

The extra feather detail is welcome too :^)

Very nicely taken imager. The only thing I never understand why people, young or not, like hanging foreign material into their noses. In this case it kinds of adds to the image, like mimicking the eyes in a miniature scale. But simply the idea of hanging something out of your nose........ :-( brrrrrrr.......

I know this has nothing to do with the subject here. Also, I am a person with a lot of nose trouble issues, had several corrective surgery to remove overgrown cartilage . I just cannot comprehend the hygiene aspect of these "look improving embellishments"...... :-(

Well, each to its own I suppose, I had long hair when it was considered out of line by the old folks from that era..... ;-) Now I am almost bald, maybe I should have had a buzz cut back then...... ;-)

Anyway, the image is nice, well lit too.

Best, AIK

Luck > skill ;-)

Evidently these kind of shots aren't about counting pixels; they'll end up on Facebook or Instagram 98% of the time

Wonderful image! Not sure how much credit belongs with the camera in this though.

It does not get any more amazing. Outtakes from a photoshoot at a local business. To drum up foot traffic at a local auto and home insurance office ! I got paid by the insurance agent and visitors get free photos

These crack me up cause Santa and this young girl have the same expression (to me).
