I have an Olympus SP-57OUZ. Can anyone advise me on what settings to use when I take close-up pictures of beaded jewellery, to be used for posting online. I have taken a few pictures, usually outside in natural light, but I'm completely confused about all the different settings, reading the manual confuses me more....any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Susan,

the lighting is the most important. If your camera can focus close enough, all you need to do is get the lighting (and perhaps the exposure) right.

You need to share some of the pictures you find unsatisfactory and describe why. That will make it easier to help you change your settings. As it is, we have no idea what you're after.
