Based on the release notes, sadly it appears they did not deal with their very limited catalog and DAM implementation at all. There is only a note that catalog speed increased, but suspect that is minimal since it seems the issues are the underlying architecture of the system.
Thnxs Ian! I was waiting for this! I'm completely ignorant about C1 Pro (and also about DXO Photolab by the way). I hope now I can compare the 2 and make my choice! So much to learn; might take weeks....
in firefox browser htat i am using. If one don't clear the cache, it would remain in the shopping basket even if put in say 3 months ago
This is an important find as would really help save some money
from v8-v11 every 3 years, from v9-v11 every 2 years
C1 being so advance by now, upgrade every 3 years not a problem. Mainly for adding new camera support that one buy in those 3 years
For myself I only have major camera purchase every 4 years or so

I have done testing before on my A6500 RAW on C1 and DXO opticspro 11
for low ISO clear winner is C1 for color, detail..etc
for high ISO clear winner is DXO Prime NR
I will use free C1 express for now and buy DXO first for Prime NR
I was using Google Chrome. I don't think that would work for a longer time as the cookie could have a shorter expire time. Also if the product isn't in their webshop database it'll probably result in an error.
Thnxs Jefftan. At the moment I would like the C1 raw developer/colours.... and the DXO Prime NR. I’m shooting Sony, so C1 for Sony is affordable. Recently I bought Affinity Photo and at the same time I still use Lightroom stand alone version (only software for years), and very occasionally ON1 RAW. Too much really, so I’ll have to think and find a nice workflow with a maximum of 2 pieces of software. I’ll also have to look at integration possibilities.
for high ISO NR nothing beat DXO PEIME
This is a rare consensus among many argument of which RAW software is best
To me personally especially at ISO 100 C1 extract the most detail (some would say just more sharpening but I don't think so) and the nicest color

no thank you. the upgrade price is not worth it for me. The DAM needs work...and lots of it. Guess that is not a priority for them.

Their lack of decent implementation and overselling of Media Pro is primarily why I and others left Capture One after version 7.0
Media Pro had great potential, and they sold it that way, but it was never delivered.

Not correct. Capture One DID NOT ALWAYS have DAM, but only since 2011 when it purchased Media Pro from Microsoft, who purchased it from iView. Microsoft nor PhaseOne never really did anything with Media Pro, so it didn't develop into what they advertised. Plus it was a significant extra cost for an awkward implementation.
Well at least v11, which seems really more like an incremental update from v10 & rather a way to just get more money for a few changes & some bug fixes, saved me from spending $299 US in order for me to upgrade from v8. Many Thanks PhaseOne!!! :-D $$$$ :-D

Is there an upgrade path from Capture One Sony Pro 10 to Capture One Pro 11 (i.e. not the Sony version)?
There was an upgrade from C1 Pro Sony 10 to C1 Pro 10 for $219, but I don't see the equivalent for also going from 10 to 11.
